W&M are on the lookout for a new Contracts manager!

The role will be to manage the day to day operations of W&M throughout Cornwall.

The role:

Assist the Cornwall Painting Manager in day-to-day management of works
To oversee and manage the Painting across all contracts in Cornwall
Communication with Principle contractors including QS's, Site managers and Site agents
To oversee the labour team and allocate resources to each project
To assist in Recruitment when required
Surveying of works and providing quotations to clients
To assist, organise and host regular team talks
To secure closure and sign off projects when completed
Signing off weekly timesheets
Supplying of purchase orders for materials
Responsible for Health and Safety on site including completing RAMS to send for approval by the principal contractor (with the support of a Health & Safety Manager)

Skills required:

Supervisory or Management experience essential
A qualification that can gain a CSCS card (if current card not held, we can obtain but already qualified is an essential)
Desirable to have a painting background. However, a strong manager will be considered with little trade knowledge
Experience working with principal contractors including new builds is essential
Must have a good knowledge of using Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
Full driving license required
